ABOUT AIMA

The main ideas of the Amadeus International Music Awards (AIMA) are to support musical creativity and motivate talented artists, as well as to promote continuous development and popularise classical music in contemporary society, showing its strength. It is an online music competition that offers the opportunity to show musicians’ talent and interpretive skills worldwide.

This platform offers a great opportunity to explore the possibilities of classical music. It is also a way for musicians make themselves known to an international audience.

The AIMA are open to vocalists, instrumentalists (piano, string, wind and percussion instruments) and interpreters of chamber music of all nationalities. At AIMA we value artists with broad artistic vision and stage presence. Our main objective is to discover up-and-coming young artists and give them support in launching/help them to launch their international careers.

The Amadeus International Music Awards recognise creativity, a tradition of excellence in interpretation and imagination in choice of repertory.

The AIMA are dedicated to the memory of one of the greatest composers, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart (Salzburg, 27 January 1756 – Vienna, 5 December 1791).

The Gala Concert will take place at Salzburg Mozarteum next December 2024.

The deadline for registration to the AIMA is July 31st, 2024.
